MTSL - Not an impressive quarter

MTSL - I am not happy with their numbers. Sorry if you bought it in mid$2s or wherever! We all knew that it is a risky stock and holding it into its earning adds more risk and if the numbers are not good then the outcome would not be pretty. Some miracle should happen or the "low stock frenzy buying" should come back for us see this stock above $2 again. I hate when companies talk very little after they release the numbers and MTSL did the same. They did not explain why the EPS dropped from .01 in previous quarter to 0 cents this quarter. I am still holding to my previous shares and I apologize for this call again.

OINK is going to release its numbers tomorrow. I sold 90% of my holdings between $7 and $8, which I bought at $3.90. I am still holding a small chunk into the earning tomorrow.

VTRO is doing really well and I am still in it.

A general Caution and Advise -As I always advise in my posts, Do not chase stocks. please keep in mind that I am not a Stock Market Analyst or an Investment Adviser to count on my recommendations/alerts. As always please do your DD before investing or speculating, start with a small position, always keep your stop losses in place and emotions out. Finally thank me for your profits but do not blame me for your losses because you are the one who pulled the trigger!!!

  3. "so with MTSL game is over?"

I do not think so. There could be a pause and you never know how and when these beasts starts their rampage. I did couple of hefty profitable trades with MTSL when it initially popped from $1.75 to $3.50 and got back in at around $2 when it fall down and am holding to those. But its a shame that management are so irresponsible at explaining the details of the results.

  6. Is it wise to still accumulate shares to reduce your average price? Or hope for the next spike?

  7. Where did you read about their conference call on 11/17? I emailed Alon (Alon.Mualem@mtsint.com) to know when they are going to discuss their 3Q with their investors but I have not heard anything back from him yet.

  8. I would not suggest downside averaging on companies that do not provide enough information or guidance to their investors. I am afraid it would be a dead investment until next Q if we do not hear from the management on how their prospectus look.

  9. in yahoo finance , the company events of MTSL is signed 11/17 as date of earnings announcement.

  10. That was wrong. Earnings were already announced but we need to know if and when they are going to have a conference call to let us know why they could not make it a better quarter this time and what their prospectus is going forward

  11. No conference call. Alon just responded to me in an email and said there will not be one until next quarter. Probably will wait for the next bounce and then dump the shares.

    Hi Alon,

Thanks for your response. I already read your CEO's comments (3 lines that you copy/pasted) couple of days ago when the earnings were released. I am looking for an explanation why the EPS dropped from .01 last quarter to 0 cents this Quarter. Also I am wondering if there is anything that you could comment on how you guys are planning to increase the share holder value? As an shareholder in MTSL, I think I am entitled with rights to know about the following.

    1. Why did the EPS in 3rd quarter drop to 0 cents from .01 in the 2nd quarter? Where did you see the trouble?

    2. Where do you see the sales in the next 12 months?

    3. Do you have plans to hire a company to promote your stock through investor awareness program or exhibiting your products in Expos?

    4. In your response you said you will achieve growth but cutting costs. I know that's the first place to visit if you want to improve your margins but are you looking at other options when it comes to improving your profit margin and operating margins?

    5. Do you have any plans of launching stock buy back program?

I really appreciate if you could spend some of your valuable time to answer my questions.

Bottomline - Investors will always like to stick with company, whose management considers their shareholders concerns as their concerns.

    ***********MTSL-Alon's response********
I’m sorry I couldn’t provide you more information, since we are limited to give him information that is available to all investors. MTS management continues to put efforts in order to improve operational results by both revenues growth as well as monitoring our cost structure.

At this point we are not providing looking forward guidance but we may conduct conference call next quarter to allow investors ask their questions.

    Regards,
    Alon

  13. wow, MTSL is at 1.75 at +20%. hope that will close at this price or a bit lower or higher.

  14. It's at $2.40 now. unloaded at this price. If the gains are just based on the news of regaining nasdaq listing, I dont think it would run that bing. I am expecting a news release in the coming sessions from the company...expecting $2.75 today!
